Founded by volunteers, the Westfall Volunteer Ambulance has been providing emergency medical care since 1998.
Unfortunately, here in Westfall and across the nation, we have seen a drastic decline in volunteers for both EMS and Fire services. To address this shortfall in a major service to the community, the county and municipalities have worked together to provide funding for paid EMS services and supported mutual aid agreements to provide adequate ambulance coverage to our residents.

Our department outfits two ambulances to support our community, as well as surrounding mutual aid companies, who regularly borrow our second rig when theirs is out for repair. Our ambulances provide Basic Life Support (BLS) with additional optional protocols, including epinephrine and albuterol administration, glucose monitoring, naloxone, and CPAP for airway support.
